It was ok…
There were some funny parts, it wasn’t bad persay. This movie is nowhere near recent comedies such as Knocked Up, Superbad, Wedding Crashers, etc….but has a certain nitch that it falls into and is a good laugh. Wilson does a good job and you can hardly tell he is all suicidey recently. My main issues were the bullies being too evil, some of the ancillary hobos could have been fleshed out better and the parents were just idiots. I mean I understand some of that was on purpose for comedic effect and plot points but it wasn’t that funny when the parents were being dumb.
Go see it, don’t expect much, you’ll laugh and walk away happy. Overanalyze it and you will hate it.
